Beaujolais is a region that is not only a delight to the palate but also a feast for the eyes. Located just north of Lyon, it stretches between rolling hills, the Saône Valley, and the foothills of the Massif Central.

All around, vineyards stretch for miles, climbing the hills and changing color with the seasons—from lush green in spring to gold and reds in autumn. And between them, narrow roads lead through peaceful villages. Picturesque towns, houses made of golden stone. Tuscany in France 🙂 and a peaceful rhythm of life dictated by the seasons…

Mostly associated with Beaujolais Nouveau—a light, young, not-so-great 🙂 tart wine. And yet this is a region where elegant, deep wines are also produced, wines that can easily hold their own against the famous Bordeaux.
