You think — France, you think — Paris, the châteaux of the Loire Valley, mysterious Brittany, the French Riviera… But what about Lyon this time? Maybe skiing on endless slopes? Maybe a journey through the Rhône Valley, wrapped in its rolling vineyards?
My name is Gosia. Born and raised in Warsaw, I have been living in Lyon, the French capital of gastronomy (though let’s be honest — it’s more of a capital of meat, cream, and butter, which makes it quintessentially French), since 2015.
I am a Warsaw native and a tour guide in Warsaw, but it is Lyon and the entire Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region that are at the heart of my life and work. For years, I have been a French language instructor and a licensed tour guide in France. I am fortunate enough to do what I love — I teach (and continue to learn myself) and share the beauty, diversity, and colors of Lyon and its surroundings with my guests.
I myself love to travel, and although I usually do it without a map and somewhat intuitively, I truly appreciate the tips, advice, and knowledge of local guides.
That is why I invite you to explore this beautiful, deeply French city — full of charming corners, history stretching back to the days of the Roman Empire, and above all, flavors, wine, and art. Because I have a fondness for everything that is off the beaten path, I am happy to organize a tailor-made tour.
